Body Alignment
in Pegeia (Peyia)

Want less pain and to move freely again? I work gently—no hard pressure and no sudden twists. With Body Alignment, targeted pressure points, and light adjustments, we release blockages and give your body more mobility.

Sessions take place exclusively in Pegeia. Clients from all over Cyprus are welcome.

Body Alignment is a gentle, whole-body approach that works from head to toe — from the jaw and neck down to the pelvis, knees, and feet. It combines light, targeted pressure with small, guided movements that help realign the body’s natural axes — without force, without cracking. The key difference is that you stay actively involved throughout the process. This “fix-in-motion” method is non-manipulative, calm, and especially suited for sensitive or anxious people.

Another important element is a very gentle back treatment that helps your spine “breathe” again. It warms the tissues, improves circulation, and prepares your back for subtle alignment. Traditionally, this part of the work is described as soothing, nurturing, and deeply relaxing for the whole back area — creating a calm foundation where mobility can return naturally.

Body Alignment views the body as one interconnected system. That’s why every session works on both sides, addressing how one area influences another — for example, how the jaw affects the neck, the ribs influence the shoulders, or the pelvis impacts leg alignment. Because you stay active during the process, the nervous system doesn’t resist; instead, it relaxes, allowing deep release without any defensive reaction. These same small, gentle movements can later be repeated at home as simple self-help exercises, making the results easier to maintain.

Gentle care without force in Pegeia (Peyia)

Ideal if you feel anxious: calm, well-explained, and gentle

No sudden maneuvers, no hard “cracking”

Feel noticeably lighter and more mobile in everyday life

How I Help (Whole Musculoskeletal System)

Pain often shows up where the body is trying to hold things together: in the neck, between the shoulders, in the lower back, the pelvis, or the knees and feet. Body Alignment releases these patterns gently in motion, allowing natural mobility to return without strain.

For the jaw and neck, we use guided opening, nodding, and rotation movements with light, steady pressure. For the shoulders and ribcage, calm mobilization restores the rhythm between breathing and rotation. The pelvis, knees, and feet are balanced through gentle guided extensions and soft counterpressure, helping to clarify your overall alignment. Every adjustment is bilateral, slow, and comfortable — never rushed, never forced.

Back & Spine

Common issues:

Back pain, sciatica, irritated discs, lumbago, stiffness in the lower back, rounded back/over-arched lower back.

How I help:

Gentle pressure points, light alignment, and energy work calm your nervous system. Protective muscle tension can let go, movement feels freer.

Why Body Alignment Often Works Better

People today are looking for something gentle, holistic, and practical — something that truly meets them where they are. This is where Body Alignment stands out.

gentle treatment with no cracking in Pegeia

Unlike chiropractic adjustments, there are no fast, end-range thrusts. Traditional HVLA techniques (“High Velocity, Low Amplitude”) can be effective, but for many sensitive people they feel too abrupt. Body Alignment uses slow, low-force pressure within movement, never beyond it. This makes the work naturally more nervous-system friendly and far easier to relax into.

Compared to osteopathy, the similarity lies in the softness — the difference is in the active participation. From the very beginning, you move gently while I guide light pressure. You’re not just lying still while something is done to you; you’re part of the change. That makes the improvement more tangible, easier to understand, and simpler to reproduce later with short self-help routines. That active, repeatable element is a core strength of this approach.

Compared to physiotherapy, Body Alignment fits beautifully alongside it — but it happens before strengthening work. It helps to realign the joints and ease tension first, so that training later feels smoother, lighter, and more natural. Because you learn simple cues to continue at home, the effect doesn’t fade after the session; it grows with your awareness and practice.

In short: If you’re looking for a method that works without cracking, keeps you actively involved, and helps you feel calmer and freer in everyday life, Body Alignment is often the better choice — especially if you’re sensitive, anxious, or tired of recurring tension patterns.

How a Session Works

A session usually takes 30–60 minutes. Everything is calm, clear, and well explained. You set the pace—I adapt every step to you.

Each session begins with a short conversation: where you feel tension, since when, and what your main goal is. Then we observe a few easy movements — turning, bending, walking — just to see how your body organizes itself, without any stressful testing. Right from the start, you’ll feel the calm rhythm of the work: clear, quiet, without pressure.

The main part combines a gentle back treatment with Body Alignment in motion. You breathe normally while I apply light, guided pressure at key points as you perform small movements — opening the jaw, lowering a shoulder, letting the torso sway, or gently extending a leg. Nothing is abrupt; everything follows your pace.

At the end, you receive one to three very short self-help movements tailored to you. They take only moments but make a lasting difference because frequent, small impulses help the body remember the new balance.

Results You Can Feel

Many people notice relief during the session or shortly after. Sometimes changes show up over the next 24–72 hours as the nervous system settles and the body continues to adjust. Both are normal.

Short term — what often eases right away

  • Less pulling and pressure in typical problem areas

  • Freer movement when turning, bending, or walking

  • A calmer nervous system: more inner ease, clearer body awareness

  • Easier breathing and a more relaxed overall feeling

Medium term — what tends to stabilize over time

  • Better posture without thinking about it

  • Smoother movement patterns instead of protective habits

  • More stamina in daily life because the body resists less

  • Fewer recurring tensions as chains work together more harmoniously

For sensitive & anxious people

  • More safety in your body because nothing is forced

  • Less fear of movement, step by step

  • More trust in your own perception and in small signals

Honest & Clear

Every body responds differently—there are no guarantees. My goal is to help you take tangible steps toward less pain and more mobility. Gently, transparently, and at your pace.

My path

For several years I’ve been working with the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. I use Body Alignment to help people experience less pain and freer movement — gently, clearly, and without force. My focus is to help you feel safe, understand each step, and become active in your own recovery. The method combines small, precise adjustments with a grounded, relaxing atmosphere.

My approach

  • Gentle, not forceful: small, precise impulses instead of strength

  • Nervous system first: create calm so protective tension can ease

  • Whole-body view: align head, ribcage, pelvis, and legs as one system

Why I do this

I see every day how powerful small, targeted steps can be—less pulling, freer movement, more ease in the body. What motivates me is when you notice after a session: “That feels lighter.” That’s exactly why I do this work.

Note: My work is complementary and does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. For acute issues, please see a doctor first.

Legal Notice

My work is complementary and non-medical. It does not replace a medical diagnosis, therapy, or medication. I make no promises of cure and offer no guarantees. If needed, I’m happy to work alongside your doctor or physiotherapist.

Please see a doctor or go to the emergency department first if you have:

  • Acute injuries (e.g., accident, fall), suspected fracture or torn ligament

  • Strong inflammation, fever, infections, or open wounds

  • New weakness, numbness, or signs of paralysis

  • Bladder or bowel problems (urinary/stool incontinence), sudden numbness in the pelvic/saddle area

  • Rapidly increasing redness, swelling, or heat in a joint

  • A recent operation without medical clearance

Your responsibility

Please tell me truthfully about your symptoms and medical history, and decide for yourself whether a session is suitable for you. If anything is unclear or uncomfortable during the session, let me know immediately—we’ll adjust everything or end the session.

Book an Appointment
Body Alignment:
100,- per Session

The fee is €100 per session (30–60 minutes). Each session includes a head-to-toe treatment that gently realigns your spine and joints in motion, calms your nervous system, and gives you clear self-care steps to continue at home.

Compared to chiropractic adjustments, which use high-speed thrusts, Body Alignment relies on slow, active corrections that feel softer and are often better tolerated by sensitive people. Osteopathic treatments are usually gentle too, but tend to be more passive; here, you stay involved from start to finish, so the effect becomes part of your own body awareness. And while physiotherapy focuses on exercise, Body Alignment often makes that training more effective by first refining your alignment and easing deep tension.

Shorter, gentler, more frequent impulses — that’s what helps your body remember what balance feels like.
